CNC SHIELD FOR ARDUINO
The CNC shield for Arduino has total four slots, can drive 4 A4988 stepper motors.
The CNC shield features four slots, allowing for the control of up to four A4988 stepper motors using only two IO ports per motor. This means three stepper motors can well manage six IO ports.
The CNC Shield V3.0 is a versatile tool that enables the creation of an engraving machine, 3D printer, mini CNC, or similar device using an Arduino. This shield is designed to easily connect to an Arduino board with no additional connections or wiring required. The CNC shield features four slots for stepper motor drive modules, each capable of driving a single stepper motor, which can be controlled using only two IO pins on the Arduino. Simply attach the CNC Shield V3.0 to an Arduino UNO and install the GRBL firmware to quickly build a DIY CNC engraving machine.
This CNC shield is user-friendly and compatible with development boards that support Arduino. It is the latest version of the CN shield model, V3.0, and is GRBL 0.9 compatible. The CNC Shield also supports stepper drivers via jumper wires. The compact design of the shield allows for easy connection of stepper motors with 4-pin molex connectors or soldering.
The CNC Shield V3.0 offers 4-axis support, including X, Y, Z, and A, with the ability to duplicate X, Y, Z or to function as a full fourth axis using pins D12 and D13. The open-source GRBL firmware turns G-code commands into stepper signals for the CNC Shield. The package includes one CNC Shield for Arduino.
